That’s why the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation offers a lifeline through our Grant Program, providing direct financial assistance to patients facing the heavy burden of non-medical expenses during treatment.
Through a simple application process, patients can receive vital support for everyday essentials like housing (rent or mortgage), utilities, transportation, lodging, nutritious food, and even urgent needs such as car or home repairs and childcare.
In New Mexico, where many live paycheck to paycheck, a cancer diagnosis can be devastating. A sudden illness can drain savings, force time off work, and threaten a person’s independence. That’s why our grant committee meets twice each month to respond quickly and compassionately, ensuring that no patient faces cancer alone or unsupported.
